Swim Wear Haul

YaY!!! Summer is right around the corner!!  In Texas, it’s pretty much already here! Pool parties, the beach, river trips, sunshine and fun cocktails – yes please!  Oh Wait – that means I have to put on a swim suit… crap.

I don’t know about you, but swimsuit shopping is super hard. I am definitely not a tall, skinny, lanky model that looks good in every swimsuit ever. And on top of that, MOST of the time I’m in a swimsuit, I am keeping up with 3 kids. I need something comfortable that I can move in, but still want to feel cute and confident!  A few of my girlfriends and I have tried a TON of swimsuits this season. The ones that didn’t work for us, we traded and more often than not, it worked for some one else! The ones I’m linking here are ones that worked for ALL of us, despite the differences in our body types.  You can shop all of these options at the bottom of this post. I hope this will help you ladies ease the anxiety of swim suit shopping!

I’ll start with one-pieces first. These provide good coverage, are comfortable, trendy and the prices are awesome! I love the off the shoulder and the low v-neck of the black one. The striped/floral one is so versatile and flattering on pretty much ANY body type. It has a zipper on the back that just completes it so well!

If you buy one swimsuit for the season, it should be this one!! While slightly more expensive (but not really that bad considering how expensive they can get), this is one of my favorite swim suits ever. It’s so classy and looks good on pretty much anyone. I love the plunging neckline and the ringlet detail and the back had plenty of coverage. I’ve found it in black and olive green as well as blue and merlot. Some of the sizes are on sale and I don’t think they will last long! The white fringe kimono from American Eagle is the PERFECT cover up!

And for two-pieces, The high-waisted thing is all the rage and I think they are so fun! This yellow one is so flattering and can be tied tighter to create a ruched look at the hips. I love the tie front on the floral one ties in front and can be adjusted to fit as needed. Both are super comfortable and would look great and various body types!

I hope this has helped a little in finding swimwear you love and are comfortable in! Enjoy your summer, ladies!
